Accountant Positions: There will be two accountant positions advertised and filled within each EERA. The position description will be posted on the Extension HR web site and interested internal applicants are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be screened and interviewed to begin in those roles on varied dates. The date for application submission and start date will be included in each position description when posted.

The positions will be in the A&P category.

Candidates will be selected by the Regional Director, Area Leader and the Business Office.

Split of accountant counties within an area will be determined by Area Leader and the Business Office, but should be based upon geography and total county office funding.

The goal is that no funds change hands, but rather duties that the accountant was performing in the office will now be transferred to participating offices, such as website design, communications, etc.

Each County Director will still be required to review and sign their monthly reconciliation
